Specialist Fields
<Psychotronics>

The study of the mind, specifically mind control, and the devices, processes, and strategies used to attain similar objectives.

<Cryptozoology>

A well-known and researched Field in the Division, Cryptozoology is the study of creatures and beings that are not known to rational science and are considered myth and legend. Most of the Division's scientific research on this Field comes from the GEAR and NWA Branches, as they are considered hotspots of paranatural sightings. The current Division Lead Researcher of Cryptozoology is Sir 'Redden' Bescher of Northwestern America Branch.

<Tangential Physics>

A new field of pseudoscience initially discovered by the Global Occult Coalition, Tangential Physics deals with the science of that which is colloquially known as magic. Radii specialists are in charge of research and practice in this field. The main goal of the study of Tangential Physics is to enable Radii to use new technologies in completing missions.

<Ktisilogy>

Ktisilogy has been studied since the ancient times. The Division singled out a field and coined the term Ktisilogy, from the greek word "ktisis". Ktisilogy is the study of the creation of universes, worlds, and subspaces. This field is further divided into the manner of how worlds are created; by writing, using virtual systems, in dreams and by imagination, and many other ways. Ktisilogy may also unlock the secrets of the creation of the World and all universes in it. The first subject of interest is an individual named Suzumiya [PITHOS] located in Universe SH-1.

<Cartesian Physics>

The branch of the Division dedicated to the research of realism and existence of 2-dimensional universes and subspaces.

<Temporal Studies>

This field explores all sciences and humanities related to time travel and time anomalies. Specialists of Temporal Studies are called Kronii.

<Vitalogy>

The study of life. Philosophical and scientific approaches to the study of the characteristics and requirements of life, as opposed to non-life. This branch of science differs greatly from biology as it explores the possibilities of the creation and destruction of life through Psychotronics, Tangential Physics, or Ktisilogy. Vinci assigned to Vitalogy usually ask the question: "Why do we live?"

<Vitamorphology>

A combination of Psychotronics and Vitalogy, Vitamorphology harnesses the possible effects of psychotronics in altering physiological attributes in living things. The Division's most controversial field of study. Vitamorphology deals with the possible effects of psychotronics on the body's physiology and capacity. A most notable example would be the "placebo effect", wherein an individual who believes in the possibility of surviving an illness will have an exponential increase in that individual's chances of surviving. However, a study by Rad. Col. [PITHOS] have revealed that not only is bodily repair possible, it could even go beyond and actually 'morph' bodily organs, using psychotronics, consequently casting the ethical legality of Vitamorphology within the Division.1
